Munich Security Conference

“The world’s leading forum for debating international security policy”, its main objective is “to build trust and to contribute to the peaceful resolution of conflicts by sustaining a continuous, curated and informal dialogue within the international security community”. The conference thus aims at constituting a space where the different attendees exchange new ideas to fulfill those purposes.
WPL participated with its “Women Peacemakers Series” for the 3rd consecutive year, hosting a lunch with McKinsey on “A Man’s World? Leadership and Participation in International Affairs”.
During WLGF 2018, the Reykjavik Summit was convened for the first time. A meeting of CWWL members and other senior figures from Civil Society to discuss a road map for peaceful societies.
The outcomes were published in the Hofði House Report and that will be the basis of discussion at MSC.
