The Reykjavík Global Forum Builds Momentum, Powers Progress
Fourth Annual Convening Brings World Leaders Together to Advance Leadership Agenda
REYKJAVÍK, ICELAND – The fourth annual Reykjavík Global Forum brings together cross-sector leaders around the world to collaborate, share best practices, and take action. Co-hosted by Women Political Leaders (WPL), the Government of Iceland, and the Parliament of Iceland, this year’s convening takes place on 9-10 November with the theme of Power, Together for Progress, offering both in person and virtual opportunities for connection.
As both a convening and a community, the Reykjavík Global Forum 2021 features some of the most influential leaders, compelling speakers, and innovative problem solvers in the world. The dynamic and action oriented two day programme addresses some of the most critical topics confronting the world right now. These include tax and financial progress, sport and society, smart investments, and innovative corporate leadership amongst several others. The Co-Chairs of the Forum represent accomplished advocates for women’s leadership, including, including Amina J. Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary-General, Katrín Jakobsdóttir, Prime Minister of Iceland, Michelle Bachelet, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Pedro Sánchez, Prime Minister, Spain, and Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen, Deputy Secretary-General of the OECD.
